Class B Diesel Mechanic
Lakewood, NJ

Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $28–$32/hour (based on experience)

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable Class B Diesel Mechanic with strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently. This position focuses on medium and heavy-duty trucks. Experience with HINO trucks is a major plus. Must be comfortable using diagnostic tools and working on air brake systems.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty diesel trucks
• Use diagnostic tools, manuals, and schematics to troubleshoot issues
• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, replacements, and quality checks
• Work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision
• Follow safety procedures and complete daily paperwork

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of diesel truck repair experience
• Solid diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with air brake systems and diagnostic tools
• Must obtain a Class B CDL within 3 months of hire (with company assistance)
• Ability to assist with parts research and ordering
