N.A. Trading Company in Commerce, CA is seeking a Class B Truck Driver to safely operate 26ft box trucks on local routes delivering to restaurants.

You will perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, load/unload with proper lifting, maintain delivery records, provide excellent customer service, and comply with HOS and traffic laws. Flexible hours include weekends and holidays with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license required with clean driving record and minimal points
• At least 2 years of Class B box truck driving experience

Responsibilities

• Operate 26ft (or longer) box trucks on local routes to deliver goods

What You’ll Do

As a Class B Truck Driver at our Commerce facility, N.A Trading Company, you will be responsible for safely operating 26ft (or longer) box trucks to transport goods over designated routes. This is a local driver position that requires deliveries to restaurants.

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in optimal working condition. Report any maintenance issues promptly to management.
• Safely load and unload goods using proper lifting techniques, ensuring that cargo is securely stowed as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and ensure timely completion of all required paperwork.
• Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods punctually and addressing any customer concerns or inquiries courteously.
• Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and traffic laws, including compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and colleagues to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise during transit.

Qualifications

• Valid Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record, with no more than 4 points on your license in the last 5 years and no at-fault accidents within the same period.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Class B box truck driver.
• Demonstrated knowledge of all local traffic laws and regulations.
• Ability to demonstrate safe driving skills.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Experience working independently and as part of a team.
