Job summary

Wismettac Asian Foods, Inc. is seeking a Class B Driver to deliver products to customers and perform warehouse duties. The role requires operating trucks, loading/unloading, and maintaining safe driving practices in accordance with DOT and FSMA guidelines.

Interstate driving may be required, with a schedule that includes early hours and potential weekends. Benefits include health and retirement offerings. Candidates should have a Class B license, 2 years of driving experience, and familiarity

Qualifications

• High School or GED mentioned as minimum education.
• 2 years of recent commercial driving experience.
• Experience using E‑log books computer/tablet system.
• Experience using a forklift and electric pallet jack.
• Must have a Class B driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Drive delivery trucks weighed 26,000+ pounds safely and efficiently.
• Deliver products over established routes or territory.
• Load/unload merchandise at customer sites (up to 50 pounds).
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers.
• Perform pre-trip, in-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Submit paperwork required by DOT and Wismettac promptly.
• Handle cash-on-delivery receipts and payments when applicable.
• Follow FSMA and Sanitary Transportation guidelines.
