Job summary

Imperial Brady in Franklin, MA is hiring a Class B Delivery Driver to support our transportation group. You will run a daily route, load and unload goods, and deliver to customer locations while delivering exceptional service.

Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm; must have CDL B, DOT medical exam, clean driving record, and be capable of lifting 50+ pounds.

Qualifications

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL B)
• Must pass DOT Medical Exam
• Good driving record
• 1 year of CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck with 26,000 lbs GVW
• Load and unload cargo via hand, pallet jack, and lift gate
• Track and document the activity log
• Report issues to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with a positive attitude

The Class B Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of stops daily. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering products and providing exceptional customer service.

The schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

You will:

• Safely operate a 24’ box truck of 26,000 pounds of gross vehicle weight (GVW)
• Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
• Properly track and document the activity log
• Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
• Inspect the truck before and after each trip
• Communicate with customers with an outgoing, positive attitude

You have:

• A valid commercial driver’s license
• Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
• A good driving record
• 1 year of recent CDL B experience
• 1 year of route delivery experience
• 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
• Lift gate experience
• Ability to handle physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
• Strong work ethic
