Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Chubbuck, ID, a subsidiary of Clean Harbors, is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver. The role trains to drive a Class B box truck to service parts washer machines, pick up hazardous waste, and sell products on a defined route.

Expect 10–12 hour days with occasional travel. 5K sign-on bonus and uncapped commission are offered, along with comprehensive health benefits after 30 days of full-time employment and a 401K with company match.

Qualifications

• Class B CDL required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsement must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Able to perform physical tasks as required.
• Background check, drug test and physical required.
• OSHA respirator facial hair standards.

Responsibilities

• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15-30 gallon drums of solutions.
• Service parts washer machines and clean sediment from sinks.
• Upsell at customer locations and generate new leads.
• Service automotive repair, fleets, and manufacturing customers.
• Perform daily scheduled services, deliveries, and pickups.
• Follow all local, state, and federal regulations.
• Safely operate vehicles per DOT and regulations.
• Adhere to environmental health and safety guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
