Job summary

Tevis - Modern Comfort in Woodbine, MD is seeking a Class B CDL Propane Driver to join our team. Local deliveries, home daily, serving commercial and residential tanks with a focus on safety and reliable service.

You will deliver propane, maintain DOT physical card and required Licenses, perform leak tests, log paperwork accurately, and cooperate with dispatch. This full-time role offers $25-$30 per hour, overtime during heating season, and a benefits package including health, dental, vision,

Qualifications

• 1-3 years driving experience.
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License required.
• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of computers (Ravens).
• High level of customer service focus.
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Propane to commercial and residential tanks.
• Maintain DOT physical card, Hazmat and Class B (minimum) CDL license compliance.
• Perform a leak test on disruption of service deliveries.
• Purging lines of air and lighting appliances as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and stay safety conscious.
• Load/unload bobtail truck.
• Maintain accurate paperwork (load records, manifests, delivery tickets).
• Conduct daily pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and periodic lubrication/cleaning.
• Communicate with dispatch to ensure accurate delivery and inventory records.
• Work overtime and some weekends during heating season.
• Participate in 24-hour emergency on-call rotation.

$25-$30 per hour.

Requirements

• 1-3 years Driving Experience
• Class B Commercial Driver’s License
• Basic mathematical skills and knowledge of computers (Ravens)
• High level of customer service focus
• Ability to work independently in all weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
• Clean Driving Record

Physical Requirements

• Repetitive lifting of approx. 40lbs.
• Lifting up to 60 lbs. and pushing or pulling up to 100 lbs. (occasionally)
• Bending, kneeling, twisting, crouching, walking, sitting for long periods

Responsibilities
