Job description

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Augusta, GA location. Candidates can have either a CDL Class A or CDL Class B License with Air Brake Endorsement.

Desired experience includes:

• Flatbed with Moffett experience
• Box Truck experience

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to job sites, physically unloading materials as per customer requests, receiving materials at the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

Experience requirements: 1 year of CDL Class B delivery driving experience or 2 years of CDL Class A driving experience.

Qualifications:

• CDL Class B with Air Brake Endorsement
• 2 years CDL Class B driving experience
• Flatbed and Moffett experience preferred
• Box Truck experience preferred
• Forklift experience preferred
• Ability to drive a manual transmission
• Current DOT medical card
• Clean driving record
• At least 21 years old
• Heavy lifting capability (50-100 lbs., some over 100 lbs.)
• Pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen

Job requirements:

• Continual lifting of 50-100 lbs., some over 100 lbs.
• Unloading shingles and other materials using heavy equipment
• Loading trucks within DOT weight limits
• Receiving merchandise at the warehouse
• Moving materials to designated areas
