HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, in Monroe, MI, is looking for a Class B CDL Operator to join their safety-conscious team. The Class B CDL Operator is responsible for the safe and proper execution of HPC Industrial jobs across all service lines. Supervises and completes single-task jobs requiring one crew and manages turnarounds with oversight at the client’s site, in accordance with client and company policies. This is an excellent opportunity for transitioning military personnel to leverage their skills and training as they return to civilian life.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures for both the company and the customer, including operations, safety, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions;
  • Operate vacuum and hydroblasting equipment;
  • Operate special equipment such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps;
  • Manage equipment by energizing pumps and specialized cleaning tools;
  • Ensure surface cleanliness conforms to specifications;
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment;
  • Handle liquid vacuums, air machines, and jet rodders;
  • May supervise a crew of vacuum technicians;
  • Transport equipment and personnel to job sites;
  • Complete pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain driver logs, and comply with DOT policies;
  • Load and unload hoses and equipment;
  • Perform general maintenance in the field;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • Vocational training including safety courses, on-the-job training, and relevant experience;
  • Ability to understand English sufficiently for safety and emergency instructions;
  • Valid driver’s license with CDL Class A or B, complying with company policies;
  • Smartphone for Electronic Logging Device use;
  • Possibly required to obtain TWIC card;
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment operation;
  • Experience operating vacuum trucks;
  • Knowledge of wet and dry vacuum equipment operation.
Additional Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent;
  • Class B CDL license required;
  • Hazmat and Tanker endorsements preferred.
