Job summary

Mid-Ohio Food Collective is seeking a reliable Part-Time CDL Driver (Class A or B) to perform essential food pickups and deliveries across our 20-county service area. You will operate commercial trucks, ensure USDOT compliance, and provide excellent customer service to partner agencies and retail partners.

The role requires at least 1 year of verifiable driving experience, a valid CDL, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Valid Class A or B CDL and a USDOT Medical Card.
At least 21 years old with 1 year of recent, verifiable driving experience.
Clean driving record with no more than two moving violations and no DOT-defined accidents in the last 3 years.
Experience operating propane/electric forklifts and electric pallet jacks/riders.
Experience handling refrigerated freight or food products preferred.

Responsibilities

Pickups & Deliveries: drive trucks to perform donation pickups from retailers, warehouses, manufacturers, and community drives.
Distribution: deliver orders to partner agencies throughout the 20-county service area.
Loading & Unloading: operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload cargo at MOFC facilities and sites.
Compliance & Safety: complete USDOT pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain driving records.
Vehicle Maintenance: keep assigned vehicles clean and perform basic upkeep.
Team Collaboration: assist with special projects and events as requested by Transportation Manager.
