Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Class B CDL Driver to safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials from Somerville to diverse facilities. The role emphasizes strict safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate logs.

You will operate 24’ box trucks, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and maintain digital logs while adhering to DOT rules. The job supports ongoing training and potential on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Class A or B CDL.

• Must be willing to consent to MVR screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (THC).
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (THC).
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds regularly.
• Must be willing to work flexible hours (Mon–Fri).
• Overtime on a regular basis.
• Safety-sensitive role handling hazardous chemicals and biological waste.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including 24’ box trucks, in compliance with regulations.
• Rotating on-call responsibilities as part of our Emergency Response team (optional).
• Transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials to disposal or recycling facilities.
• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and safe operation.
• Maintain accurate digital logs and DOT compliance.
• Complete manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch, supervisors and clients for timely delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
• Secure loads for safe transportation of materials.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Job description

Triumvirate Environmental, one of the largest environmental services firms in North America, is seeking a Class B CDL Driver for our Somerville team. You will safely transport hazardous and non-hazardous materials to various locations, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

This highly motivated & safety-first individual will be responsible for operating Class B commercial vehicles, conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining accurate digital logs, and adhering to safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive commercial vehicles, including but not limited to 24’ box trucks, in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.

• Complete all required manifest paperwork and documentation accurately.
  
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
  
• Assist with loading and unloading of materials as needed.
  
• Properly secure load to ensure safe & compliant transportation of materials.
  
• Participate in ongoing training and development programs to maintain industry knowledge and skills.

Basic Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License.
  
• Strong commitment to safety and environmental compliance.
  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  
• Must have a reliable form of transportation.
  
• Must be willing to consent to Motor Vehicle Record screening, criminal background check, pre-employment physical, and drug screen (inclusive of THC).
  
• Upon employment, you will be required to participate in a random drug screening program (inclusive of THC) as part of our company’s commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
  
• Must be able to lift 60 pounds on a regular basis.
  
• Must be willing to work flexible hours within the work week (Monday through Friday).
  
• Ability to work overtime on a regular basis
  
• The Driver position frequently handles hazardous chemicals and biological waste and responsible for taking on and taking off personal protective equipment. This role is considered safety-sensitive.
  
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without future sponsorship.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficiency in driving manual transmission vehicles.
• Previous experience in environmental services or related field
