Job summary

Puget Sound Pipe & Supply CO in Kent, Washington is hiring a Class B CDL Driver to safely load, transport, and deliver materials between PSP branches. You will operate a forklift, verify orders, and maintain DOT-compliant vehicle records while providing excellent customer service.

The position offers a starting pay of $25 to $28 per hour, 40 hours per week, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance and a 401k. Onsite work only.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalency
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Pass Background Check
• Must currently possess and maintain a current and clear driving record

Responsibilities

• Locate material in pipe yard and warehouse for delivery
• Maintain good relationships with customers
• Use a forklift to load/unload boxes, pallets and pipe onto the truck
• Deliver material between PSP branch locations
• Ship, transport and deliver material and customer orders on time and accurately
• Make multiple deliveries a day
• Maintain daily vehicle inspection reports and comply with all DOT requirements
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations along with all other applicable internal and external policies, rules, regulations and procedures

About this position

Description:

Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional Class B CDL driver to join the team at our Kent, WA location. This person would be responsible for safely loading and delivering goods on time to our customers.

Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. There is no relocation assistance available.

Class B CDL Driver starting at $25.00-$28.00 per hour to start, plus great benefits. Hiring immediately!

Basic Duties:
