Job summary

Puget Sound Pipe and Supply seeks an experienced Class B CDL driver for our Kent, WA location. You will load, transport, and deliver pipe, valves and fittings to customers, using a forklift when needed, while maintaining strong customer relations.

This role offers 40 hours per week, competitive benefits, and a safety-focused work environment. No relocation assistance is provided; on-site at the branch location in Kent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Class B CDL with clean driving record preferred.
• Experience handling pipes, valves and fittings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver goods safely to customers on schedule.
• Locate materials in yard and warehouse for delivery.
• Use forklift to load/unload boxes, pallets, and pipe.
• Deliver between PSP branch locations as needed.
• Ensure on-time shipping and accuracy of orders.
• Make multiple daily deliveries and maintain DOT compliance.
• Record daily vehicle inspections and follow OSHA/DOT rules.

Puget Sound Pipe is a premier wholesale distributor of pipe, valves and fittings in the Pacific Northwest & Alaska. We are currently looking for an exceptional Class B CDL driver to join the team at our Kent, WA location. This person would be responsible for safely loading and delivering goods on time to our customers.

Hired candidates will be working onsite at the branch location. There is no relocation assistance available.

Basic Duties

• Locate material in pipe yard and warehouse for delivery
• Maintain good relationships with customers
• Use a forklift to load/unload boxes, pallets and pipe onto the truck
• Deliver material between PSP branch locations
• Ship, transport and deliver material and customer orders on time and accurately
• Make multiple deliveries a day
• Maintain daily vehicle inspection reports and comply with all DOT requirements
• Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations along with all other applicable internal and external policies, rules, regulations and procedures
