Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Class B driver to safely deliver exterior and interior building products from the Roanoke branch, ensuring on-time delivery and customer satisfaction. You will load and unload as needed, document each delivery with photos, perform thorough load checks, and maintain compliance with regulations.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and professional conduct, with a focus on local routes and returning home nightly.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class B.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens required.
• Flatbed truck experience preferred.
• Trailer mounted forklift experience preferred.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver loading/unloading materials safely and on schedule.
• Document every delivery with photos using company phone system.
• Perform load checks and ensure truck complies with regulations.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler for placement of materials.
• Complete logs and government paperwork accurately.
• Provide customers with invoices on COD deliveries and collect payment.
• May perform warehouse duties including loading/unloading as assigned.
• No over-the-road travel required.
