Job summary

ABC Supply is seeking a licensed CDL Class B driver to support local deliveries, ensuring safe handling of shingles and materials, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role emphasizes customer service, adherence to delivery schedules, and compliance with all regulations.

No overnight travel is required, with home nights and a team-oriented branch environment. You will work closely with the Delivery Material Handler, perform load checks, and help with warehouse tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL – Class B minimum.
• Ability to lift 75-100 pounds repeatedly.
• Pre-employment drug screen required.
• No over-the-road travel required.

Responsibilities

• Treat customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Conduct a safe work zone during each job site.
• Adhere to delivery schedule and follow all directives.
• Document every delivery by taking and uploading photos.
• Complete a thorough load check on the truck and secure all materials.
• Coordinate with Delivery Material Handler to set and unload materials.
• Complete logs and required government paperwork accurately and timely.
• Provide the customer with an invoice and collect COD payments.
• Warehouse duties including loading/unloading as assigned.
