Builders FirstSource is seeking an experienced CDL-B delivery driver in California. You will transport and deliver materials to customer sites, assist with loading, and ensure safe, accurate deliveries while maintaining logs and customer relations.

You must have a Class B CDL, a DOT medical card, and a clean MVR. The role requires basic math, reading English, and adherence to safety procedures in a production environment.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED, 21+ years old, valid driver's license and a class B CDL.
• A minimum of 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years CDL driving experience strongly preferred.
• Pass MVR report.
• Obtain a DOT medical card within five days of a request.
• Have less than 5 moving violations in the last 5 years.
• Ability to read and speak the English language; basic math/measurement skills.

Aufgaben

• May load or assist with loading and appropriately securing product inside delivery vehicle.
• Delivers customer orders to specified delivery site and assists customers with unloading materials safely.
• Verifies order details and maintains logs of delivery duties including weights and locations.
• Acts as a customer service liaison between the company and the site customer and resolves issues.
• Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of delivery vehicles and performs safety checks.
• Must use handheld devices to ensure compliance with DVIR and HOS; maintain logs.
• Operate a forklift or non-motorized material handling equipment as needed.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and participate in safety meetings.
