American Welding & Gas Inc. in Sulphur, LA is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver. You will load, unload and deliver gas and cylinder supplies to customers and branches while maintaining accurate delivery tickets and adhering to SOPs.

Endorsements for Hazmat and Airbrake are required or obtainable, with a clean driving record and strong English communication. The role includes complying with DOT/OSHA rules, handling heavy cylinders, and performing paper work and vehicle upkeep.

Competenze

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; Lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Background Assessment and company road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers.

Mansioni

• Load, unload, move and store gas and liquid cylinders and other supplies; deliver to customers or branches; fill out tickets accurately.
• Read, follow and enforce SOPs; comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Move cylinders safely, manage paperwork and shipping papers.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness; perform other duties as assigned.
