Job summary

American Welding & Gas, Inc is seeking a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Springfield, MO. This role requires HazMat and Air Brakes endorsements and entails traveling overnight four days per week, with hotel and meal coverage.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading gas and cylinder shipments, delivering to customers, completing delivery tickets, and complying with DOT/OSHA regulations. Suitable candidates will have a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Class B CDL with HazMat and Airbrakes endorsements.
• Clean driving record (3+ years).
• Able to read and write English.
• DOT pre-employment drug-screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Use company vehicle to deliver products and equipment to customers in a safe and courteous manner.
• Pick up returns at customer place of business.
• Read, understand and follow all SOPs.
• Comply with all DOT/OSHA regulations.
• Move and load cylinders safely, document paperwork accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle and equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
