Job summary

Coastal Welding Supply- a AWG Company in Baytown, TX is seeking an immediate Class B CDL Delivery Driver. You will safely move, load and deliver cylinders, follow SOPs, and handle shipping paperwork while complying with DOT/OSHA rules.

Requirements include a Class B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or ability to obtain), a clean driving record, and the ability to lift heavy cylinders. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities with AWG.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL required with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain both.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders.
• Pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background assessment and road test.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and follow all SOPs.
• Comply with DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Move, load, and unload cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Prepare and complete paperwork including shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Duties:

• Read, understand and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's)
• Comply with all DOT+OSHA Regulations
• Moves, loads, and unloads empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently
• Ensures appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements

• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Back Ground Assessment and company administered road test
• Ability to communicate with customers
