This position offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced litigator with a passion for complex class action cases, including employment-related issues such as workplace discrimination, wage and hour claims, privacy matters, and more. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working on high-profile cases and joining a collaborative team of dedicated professionals who excel in their field.

Duties:

  • Manage and litigate class action cases, particularly in the areas of employment law, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination, privacy violations, and employee rights.
  • Represent clients in complex litigation matters, providing expert counsel and strategic advice.
  • Draft and review legal documents such as motions, briefs, discovery responses, and settlement agreements.
  • Oversee and mentor junior associates and legal staff.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
  • Interact directly with clients, providing legal advice and managing expectations.
  • Participate in settlement negotiations and alternative dispute resolution processes.
  • Keep up to date with developments in employment law and class action litigation trends.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in complex litigation, particularly in class action lawsuits.
  • Proven experience in labor and employment law, including defending class actions related to employment discrimination, wage and hour claims, workplace privacy, and related areas.
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Experience in managing high-stakes litigation from start to finish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Must be admitted to Texas Bar.
