Job summary

Daniels Health is seeking a reliable Class A Yard Jockey with a clean driving record and DOT medical card to navigate our Easton, PA yard and load/unload trailers. The role offers a first shift, 5AM to 3PM, with full-time benefits and a $31.00 per hour wage plus a $3,000 new hire bonus after probation.

Responsibilities include maneuvering large trucks (26'-53'), performing daily safety inspections, and coordinating with yard and warehouse teams to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Class A license with a clean driving record and a valid DOT medical card.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating 26 foot trucks and trailers up to 53 foot.
• Passing the 7 Year FADV review in the Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
• Experience with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours, roadside inspections.
• Can-do attitude with a strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment.
• Touch freight experience.

Responsibilities

• Moving trailers and equipment throughout the yard using a yard truck
• Position trailers accurately for efficient loading and unloading
• Load and unload trailers in support of warehouse operations
• Perform daily safety inspections on yard trucks and equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard
• Communicate with yard and warehouse teams to ensure efficient operations
• Safely operate straight trucks and tractor trailers (26'-53')
• Heavy lifting REQUIRED!!
