USALCO, LLC is a leading provider of aluminum-based component products used in water treatment, pulp and paper manufacturing, catalyst production for oil refining, housing, and other sectors. The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, be a team player while operating independently, and perform consistently to high standards.

Job Summary

This role involves driving USALCO tractor-tankers safely across various roadways to deliver to customer sites, from large cities to small towns. The candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, results-driven, and a team player who:

1. Incorporates safety and quality into every decision during daily activities.
2. Maintains effective communication with Transportation, Manufacturing, Safety, and customers.

The employee should be positive, task-oriented, and able to work well with all departments.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Meet all safety requirements, including PPE usage.
• Follow all DOT and USALCO standards, including hours of service, pre/post trips.
• Perform loading and unloading of chemical products, including product transfer, quality analysis, documentation, and customer certificates.
• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, vendors, and customers.
• Maintain a professional appearance in uniform.
• Collaborate with site management to determine needs and priorities.
• Work overtime, provide physical labor, and change shifts as required.
• Transport USALCO products across state lines as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and safety tasks as directed.
• Support business goals with other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications and Skills

• Organizational and planning skills.

• Pass a USALCO road test.
• Maintain electronic logbooks.
• Obtain a TWIC card within 90 days (company paid).

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Current Class A CDL with Tanker and HazMat endorsements, with 3 years of cargo tank experience.
• Clean driving record for 3+ years.
• No DUI or DWI.

Essential Functions

• Lift 80-100 pounds routinely and handle delivery hoses.
• Climb for loading, venting, and unloading.
• Traverse ladders, catwalks, and confined spaces.
• Maintain a current DOT medical card.
• Pass DOT drug and alcohol tests.
• Drive standard or automatic transmissions in compliance with DOT guidelines.
