Job summary

Zeeco, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled welder to fit-up and weld carbon steel and stainless steel assemblies in a team environment. You will follow Welding Procedure Specifications and work instructions, maintain equipment, and ensure safety and quality through PPE and HSE compliance.

The role requires 8+ years of welding experience, proficiency in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, and the ability to pass 3G MIG/MAG and 6G TIG tests. Signing bonuses are available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Specialized welding training and/or 8+ years of related welding experience with advanced skill proficiency.
• Skilled in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
• Pass 3g plate test in MIG/Flux-Ccore.
• Pass 6g TIG with 1/2" schedule 160 pipe.
• Fitter with verifiable experience.
• Pass a written fitter test.
• Demonstrate code quality consistently.
• Mechanical aptitude with measuring equipment.
• Use of positioners and pinwheels.
• Familiar with setup, layout, blueprint reading, weld symbols, and joint configuration.
• Familiar with mismatch tolerances.
• Experience in petrochemical industry preferred.
• Maintain welding equipment and PPE and safety procedures.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Fit-up and weld carbon and stainless steel assemblies per WPS and work instructions.
• Maintain welding equipment, tools, and supplies in safe working order.
• Operate effectively in a team-based environment.
• Maintain clean work area and adhere to HSE standards and PPE requirements.
