Ecology Auto Parts, Inc. is seeking a qualified Class A Driver to join our Transportation team.

The Walking Floor Driver will transport materials using Walking Floor trailers, requiring a CDL and a strong safety mindset to ensure timely, secure deliveries and environmental sustainability. The role demands adherence to transportation regulations, accurate paperwork, and reliable communication with dispatch and clients.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Endorsements are preferred.
• Excellent communication skills are expected.
• Ability to work independently and reliably meet delivery deadlines.
• Familiarity with DOT regulations and logbook requirements.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Walking Floor Trailers to transport materials.
• Adhere to traffic laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Inspect and maintain Walking Floor Trailers and report issues.
• Load/unload materials securely and efficiently.
• Complete required paperwork, such as logbooks and receipts.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, team, and clients.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safety compliance.
• Follow routes and schedules, adjusting as needed for changes.
• Follow environmental guidelines for proper disposal of materials.
