Job summary

Clean Harbors is seeking an OTR Class A Dry Van Driver to join our safety‑driven team in Ohio. This role covers a wide route from Ohio to RI/CT/NJ, averaging 2,600+ miles per week and offering a lucrative pay package.

Drivers earn $80–$110K per year, with a $7,500 sign‑on bonus, bi‑weekly home time, and compensation that includes on‑duty hourly time and mileage pay. We provide comprehensive benefits after 30 days and opportunities to grow with a market leader.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience.
• Ability to use mobile applications and computer software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safety as the top priority by following all safety policies and procedures.
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles.
• Adheres to weight limits and ensures proper utilization of the units.
• Loads and unloads hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; properly secures loads.
• Places placards on vehicles per Company and DOT requirements/regulations.
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports, and vehicle inspections.

About The Role

• Drivers average $80-$110K per year
• $7,500 sign-on-bonus available

• Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

Responsibilities

• Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
• Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles
• Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
• Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
• Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
• Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports

Qualifications

• Class A CDL
• Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
• HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements
• Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
