Job summary

ProDrivers is seeking an experienced Class A Truck Driver for a local port-haul role in San Jose, CA. You will operate a Class A dry van, complete local runs within a 50-mile radius, and maintain DOT-compliant logs.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, swing shift, with daily home time and overtime potential. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of commercial driving experience, port driving experience, a valid TWIC card, and a good MVR.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience.
• 1 year of port driving experience.
• Valid TWIC Card.
• Automatic transmission experience (Auto Restriction OK).
• Good MVR.
• Stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A Dry Van hauling port freight.
• Complete local deliveries within a 50-mile radius.
• Make 3-5 stops per day delivering quality service.
• Perform drop-and-hook operations and safely transport freight.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs and follow DOT regulations.

Now Hiring: Class A Truck Driver

Pay: $35/hour (straight pay)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM (Swing Shift)

Truck Driver Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class A Dry Van hauling port freight as a professional Truck Driver
• Complete local deliveries within a 50-mile radius as a Truck Driver
• Make 3-5 stops per day while providing excellent service as a Truck Driver
• Perform drop-and-hook operations and safely transport freight as a Truck Driver
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate logs and follow all DOT regulations
• Truck Driver will average 40+ hours per week
