Job summary

Unique Freight Transport Inc is seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver to handle drayage and port deliveries around the Los Angeles Port, offering steady miles in a dynamic freight corridor. You will operate a Class A tractor for port/intermodal moves, perform pre-trip/post-trip inspections, log hours with ELD, and communicate with dispatch while complying with TWIC and DOT rules.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A license required.
• TWIC card required or ability to obtain one.
• Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record.
• Familiarity with Los Angeles/Long Beach port terminals and surrounding routes.
• Pass DOT physical and drug screening.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Operate Class A commercial vehicle for drayage and port pickup/delivery runs at the Port of Los Angeles.
• Pick up and deliver intermodal containers, chassis, and freight to and from port terminals.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal staff, and customers regarding load status and delivery times.
• Adhere to all port security protocols, TWIC card requirements, and terminal procedures.
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and all shipping documentation is accurate and complete.

Unique Freight Transport Inc is looking for an experienced CDL Class A Driver to join our team running freight in and out of the Los Angeles Port. Responsibilities:

• Operate Class A commercial vehicle for drayage and port pickup/delivery runs at the Port of Los Angeles
• Pick up and deliver intermodal containers, chassis, and freight to and from port terminals
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
• Maintain accurate logs using ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, terminal staff, and customers regarding load status and delivery times
• Adhere to all port security protocols, TWIC card requirements, and terminal procedures
• Ensure cargo is properly secured and all shipping documentation is accurate and complete

Requirements:

• Valid CDL Class A license required
• TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card required or ability to obtain one
• Prior port drayage or intermodal driving experience strongly preferred
• Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record
• Familiarity with Los Angeles/Long Beach port terminals and surrounding routes
• Must be able to pass DOT physical and drug screening
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours including early mornings
