Job summary

PD Automotive Division is looking for career-minded individuals to join our team and assist in the distribution of automotive glass parts around Zeeland and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We have positions available for local, at-home daily solo drivers. Pay is $27.81 per hour plus OT, with guaranteed 45 hours and weekly earnings of $1,600 to $1,900. Shifts are Sunday through Friday, 6pm–6am, with possible Saturday OT; touch freight, loading/unloading, and trailer handling involved.

Qualifications

• Requires 9 months Tractor Trailer experience.
• Motor Vehicle Record within acceptable limits (no more than three minor violations in 3 years).
• Touch Freight experience or capability.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers using pallet jacks.
• Back and pull trailers off factory docks.
• Operate a box truck or tractor/trailer as required.

Driver Job Description

• Shift Info: Drivers will work Sunday Through Friday from 6pm to 6am daily. Saturday OT may be available.
• This position is a touch freight position. Drivers will load and unload trailers utilizing either a manual or electric pallet jacket (Depending on location).
• Drivers will be backing and pulling trailers off of factory docks.
• Depending on the day, drivers may be utilizing a straight box truck or a full Tractor/Trailer.
