Pero Transport LLC in Virginia is seeking a Class A CDL driver for our Cheriton location. This full-time role requires safe operation of 53' tractors, adherence to FMCSA rules, and timely interstate/local deliveries with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with FMCSR Part 383 requirements.
• Current Medical Card and clean driving history.
• Ability to read, write English and perform basic math.
• Register with DOT Clearinghouse and comply with HOS rules.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks per DOT/FMCSA standards.
• Perform interstate and local deliveries with on-time accuracy.
• Secure loads, verify documents, and complete paperwork.
• Conduct pre/post trips and report issues to Fleet Manager.
• Log Hours of Service accurately using required systems.
• Communicate delays or issues with dispatch promptly.
