Job summary

Dohrn is seeking a Full Time Class A Driver at its Evansville, IN Terminal. Pay starts at $31.70 per hour and increases to $32.97 per hour after the first year, with dayshift Monday–Friday. Benefits include Health, Vision, Dental, 401k matching, life insurance and more.

A quarterly safety incentive bonus of $250 is available, with potential to earn up to $1,000 annually. Job involves driving tractor-trailer between customer locations, loading/unloading as needed, and ensuring compliance with DOT

Qualifications

• Minimum age 23
• 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Pass road test administered by Dohrn Transfer Driver Trainer
• Hazardous Materials and Tanker endorsements within required time
• Only one valid CDL license issued by resident state
• No DUI/OWI or reckless driving in last 5 years
• Must maintain acceptable MVR
• Must pass DOT physical and drug screen
• 10-year work-history check may be required
• Must read/write English and perform simple math

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer between customer locations to deliver and pick up freight
• Load and unload trailers as needed
• Secure freight using straps or other methods
• Inspect vehicle for defects and safe operation
• Maintain driver logs and adhere to Federal and state regulations
• Follow company policies and safety procedures
