Job Title: Professional Driver

Department: Transportation

Reports To: Fleet Dispatch Manager/Driver Manager

Position Type: Full Time

Shift/Schedule: Multiple Shifts & Schedules Available

Location: Carlisle, PA

Position Competency:

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks related to truck operation.
Role Expectations:
  • Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Report unsafe acts or equipment issues immediately.
Customer Service & Operations:
  • Communicate effectively with customers and resolve issues promptly.
  • Understand and follow dispatch instructions and electronic communication.
  • Perform effective pre/post trip inspections and communicate findings.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely pickup and delivery of loads.
  • Communicate any delays or issues to dispatch.
  • Stay scheduled, take appropriate breaks, and suggest improvements.
Pay Structure:

Activity Based Pay Breakdown:

  • CPM Pay: $0.65/mile
  • Stop Pay: $27.00 per stop for live and unload stops
  • Trailer Hooks/Drops: $6.75 per stop
  • Detention: $27.00/hour after 1.5 hours, paid in 15-minute increments
  • Minimum Per Diem Pay: $250.00, contingent on work completion
