Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30am - 5:30pm (hours may vary)

Pay: $30.00/hr + $2,500 Sign-On Bonus

Job Summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and safety. This Route Delivery Driver position involves operating a company vehicle to deliver freight safely and efficiently, handling freight manually or with mechanical aid, and completing all required paperwork according to regulations and company policies.

Essential Duties

1. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
2. Deliver and/or pick up freight at customer locations or terminals as instructed.
3. Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspections and accompanies shipments.
4. Load and unload freight at various locations, using mechanical aid when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

1. Valid Class A CDL.
2. At least 21 years old.
3. One year of commercial driving experience.
4. No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
5. No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
6. Willing to obtain Hazmat and Tanker endorsements; renewals reimbursable.

Physical Demands

1. Ability to frequently enter and exit the vehicle cab.
2. Ability to maneuver freight weighing up to 2,500 pounds with mechanical aid.
3. Ability to carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet.
4. Ability to operate various vehicle components and perform vehicle checks.
