Job description

Trillium Drivers is looking for Class A drivers in the Nashville, TN area! 2nd shift Mon-Fri 4pm to 2am.

Drivers will be handling local truckload deliveries, primarily drop & hook, no touch freight. They will be picking up trailers at a customer facility and delivering them to the plant daily, as well as delivering trailers with repaired pallets to the customers facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Expected to make a certain number of deliveries, depending on location.
2. Expected to work 50+ hours/week.
3. The CDL Truck Driver will be driving automatic trucks; 53’ dry vans and/or flatbeds, depending on the location.
4. Complete paperwork at customer site verifying delivery and retrieval of pallets.
5. Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50-75 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.

Experience and Qualifications:

1. Minimum 23 years of age.
2. Must possess a valid license to operate a commercial motor vehicle.
3. Must pass a DOT Physical from a nationally registered DOT approved physician.
4. Has not ever been disqualified to drive.
5. Can successfully complete a DOT road test.
6. No more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years.
7. 1-year CDL-A driving experience within past 3 years.
8. High School Diploma or GED.
9. Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths.
