Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA is hiring a Transport Driver in Houston, Texas. This role offers a starting pay of $29.25 per hour with daily home time and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and retirement plans.

What you can expect

Delivery of products from distribution center and bakeries to sales centers. May be required to unload product and reload trailers with empty equipment. Utilize powered material handling equipment in a safe manner.

What we need from you

• 21 years of age or older.
• Two (2) years of experience driving tractor‑trailers including doubles, no accidents or points in last year, clean Class A, M.V.R. with no restrictions.
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road Test.
• Successfully able to obtain Chauffeur License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain records required by the company and the FMCSR.
• Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records.
