Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Hayward, CA is seeking a Transport Truck Driver to deliver products from distribution centers to sales locations. You will operate tractor-trailers, assist with loading and unloading, and follow safety policies on every route.

The role requires two years of tractor-trailer experience (including doubles when applicable), a clean MVR, and a valid Class A license. Applicants must pass a DOT physical and road test and be at least 21.

Qualifications

• Two years of tractor-trailer driving experience, including doubles when required.
• Clean MVR with no accidents or points in the last year.
• Valid Class A CDL and ability to pass DOT physical and road test.
• Must be at least 21 years old and able to read and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

What you can expect:

• Delivery of products from distribution center and bakeries to sales centers.
• May be required to unload product and reload trailers with empty equipment.

What we need from you:

• 21 years of age or older.
• This position requires two (2) years' experience driving tractor-trailers including doubles, no accidents or points in last year, clean Class A, M.V.R. with no restrictions.
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road Test.
• Successfully able to obtain Chauffer License (If job location is in IN, MI, TN).
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Maintain records required by the company and the FMCSR.
• Consistent with United States Department of Transportation regulations, the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records.
