Job summary

Texas Pride Fuels is seeking an experienced Class A tanker driver to transport diesel fuel across West Texas, SE New Mexico and Central Oklahoma. You will operate Class A tanker-trailer combinations, perform pre/post trip inspections, and maintain accurate logs while complying with DOT, Hazmat, and company safety rules.

The role offers a 23 days on/7 days off schedule, overtime pay, a $ sign-on and per diem, lodging, PTO in first year, and comprehensive health and retirement benefits after

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X).
• Operation of manual transmission (No E Restriction).
• Minimum of 2 years Class A truck driving experience.
• Minimum of 2 years Tanker/Fluid truck driving experience.
• Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA Compliance.
• Ability to proficiently speak, write, and read the English language.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, “Hours of Service”, inspection and maintenance basics.
• Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION.
• Must satisfactorily pass a drug test, alcohol test,and background check.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry.
• Must be insurable with the company.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver diesel fuel via class A tanker-trailer combinations from terminals to customers in ANY of our areas of operation, parts of west Texas and southeast New Mexico and central Oklahoma
• Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections + adhere to all DOT, Hazmat, and Texas Pride Fuels safety regulations
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and customer delivery documentation
• Communicate with logistics partners to ensure customer needs are met
