Job summary

Texas Pride Fuels Limited is seeking an experienced Hazmat tanker driver to safely transport and deliver diesel fuel across west Texas, southeast New Mexico, and central Oklahoma. You will operate Class A tractor-trailer combinations, perform pre/post inspections, maintain ELD logs, and coordinate with logistics partners to meet customer needs.

The role requires at least 2 years in Class A driving with tanker experience, Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and full compliance with DOT/OSHA.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements.
• Manual transmission operation (No E Restriction).
• Minimum of 2 years Class A truck driving experience.
• Minimum of 2 years tanker/fl uid driving experience.
• Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Previous customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance.
• Knowledge of OSHA Compliance.
• Ability to proficiently speak, write, and read the English language.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam.
• Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, Hours of Service, inspection and maintenance basics.
• Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION.
• Must satisfactorily pass a drug test, alcohol test,and background check.
• Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry.
• Must be insurable with the company.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver diesel fuel via class A tanker-trailer combinations from terminals to customers in ANY of our areas of operation, parts of west Texas and southeast New Mexico and central Oklahoma.
• Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections + adhere to all DOT, Hazmat, and Texas Pride Fuels safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate ELD logs and customer delivery documentation.
• Communicate with logistics partners to ensure customer needs are met.
