Job summary

GEX Transport is seeking Class A CDL drivers for regional or OTR routes with weekly home time. Expect 1100 miles per trip and 1–6 stops per trailer, plus a sign-on bonus of 2500 dollars. Benefits include health, dental, vision, 401k, and life insurance.

Drivers undergo hair follicle drug testing and must meet safety standards. Experience requirements are 3 months in regional or OTR driving, with limited moving violations and clean conduct in the last years.

Qualifications

• 3 months experience in Regional or O.T.R. truck driving.
• Moving Violations: No more than 3 in the last 3 years; No more than 2 in the last 12 months.
• Automatic transmissions knowledge and ability to operate a truck with automatics.

Responsibilities

• Drive 1100 miles per trip with 1 to 6 stops per trailer.
• Maintain weekly home time as shown (Out for 5 days, home 2 days).
• Follow safety policies, perform pre/post trip inspections and comply with DOT rules.

Home Time Weekly: Out for 5 days and home for 2 days., (Days off: Tues/Wed or Wed/Thurs).

Job Requirements: 3 months experience in Regional or O.T.R. truck driving.

Moving Violations:
No more than 3 in the last 3 years.
No more than 2 in the last 12 months.

Automatic DQ's:
No speeding in a school or construction zone in the last 6 months while holding a Class A CDL, outside of 3 months if not holding a CDL.
More than three moving violations in the past three years.
More than two moving violation in the last 12 months.

Felonies/Misdemeanor: All other charges will be reviewed.

No felony for arson or theft in the last 10 years.
No theft by check in the past 3 years.
No drug charges in the past 10 years.
