Ruan is seeking a full-time Class A Shuttle Run driver in the Lockport, IL area to haul snack foods in dry van trailers for our dedicated customer. The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with early starts (approximately 5–6 a.m.) and weekly pay with a mix of per-mile, per-stop, and per diem incentives.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 22 years old or older.
• No more than three moving violations in the past three years (some restrictions apply).
• No more than one DOT recordable preventable accident in the last three years.
• With the DOT Clearinghouse in effect, all applicants must create a profile at fmcsa.dot.gov before being hired.
• 9 months of tractor-trailer experience within the past three years.
• Must be able to read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway signs, respond to inquiries, and make entries on reports.

Responsibilities

• Drive Class A shuttle routes from Lockport, IL to nearby destinations and back.
• Haul snack foods and tortilla chips in dry van trailers; some no-touch freight.
• Adhere to safety, DOT and company policies; complete logs and reports as required.
• Maintain professional conduct and follow schedule and route requirements.

These shuttle routes offer a Monday - Friday schedule with early morning start times, between 5-6 a.m., with occasional weekend work. Shuttles run from Lockport, IL to New Brighton, MN and back or Lockport, IL to Plainfield, IN and back.
