Job summary

Johnson Brothers, a leading wine and spirits distributor, is seeking a Night Line Haul Driver for their Charlotte, NC facility. The position operates over 4-ton trucks, ensuring safe delivery and pickup of products while adhering to strict safety guidelines.

This role offers a third-shift schedule from Sunday to Thursday, allowing drivers to be home daily. Candidates must possess a Class A CDL, with preferred experience of 3-5 years in driving. Full benefits and generous PTO plans are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have an active Class A CDL for the state you reside.
• 3-5 years previous experience is ideal.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks over 4 tons for delivery and pickup.
• Perform inspections and maintain cleanliness of the truck.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.

Johnson Brothers, a national family-owned wine, spirits and beer distributor has been providing exceptional service to our customers since 1953, representing the world's most famous brands in the beverage industry.

We are currently looking for a Night Line Haul Driver for our Charlotte, NC distribution facility. As an incredibly important part of our team, the Night Line Haul Driver is responsible for positioning and moving trucks and tractor trailers between the warehouse and branch locations within the state. This is a night shift position with local/regional travel that puts you home every day!

• Shift: Third Shift
• Schedule: Sunday - Thursday

• Two days off every week - Friday and Saturday
• Short waiting period for full benefits: Only 30 Days

Responsibilities

• Operate company trucks over 4 tons for the delivery, pick up and relocation of products
• Perform inspections and clean interior of truck
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to operate and maintain trucks and equipment in a safe manner and comply with driver guidelines
• Occasional in route pallet deliveries or pick-ups will be required
• 3-5 years previous experience is ideal
• Some overtime may be required without prior notice
• Must have an active Class A CDL for the state you reside in and a satisfactory driving record for the last 3 years
• Must be 21 years old and qualify for an ABC permit
• Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly
• High school degree or equivalent required
• Must be available to meet scheduling requirements which may include additional hours without advance notice

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and a post offer physical.
