Job Summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset to join our team. The CDL A position involves operating a company vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to specified locations by designated times. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, palletizing, reloading freight manually or with mechanical assistance, and completing all required paperwork per government regulations and company policies.

Shift and Compensation

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $33.00/hour + $7,500 sign-on bonus

Essential Job Duties

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Deliver and/or pick up freight at customer locations or terminals as directed
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipments
• Load and unload freight manually or with mechanical aid depending on freight size

Minimum Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• One year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (reimbursements available)

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently enter and exit the vehicle cab
• Safely maneuver freight weighing up to 2,500 pounds with mechanical aid
• Carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet
• Operate vehicle components and perform safety checks
