Job Summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset to join our team. The CDL A position involves operating a company vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a designated time. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, palletizing, and reloading various freight manually or with mechanical assistance. All required paperwork must be completed in accordance with government regulations and company policies.

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Pay: $33.00/hour + $7,500 sign-on bonus!

Essential Duties:

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Deliver and/or pick up freight at customer locations or terminals as instructed
• Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipments
• Load and unload freight onto and off the vehicle at customer sites and terminals, with or without mechanical aid depending on freight size

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• At least 21 years old
• One year of commercial driving experience
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain (renewals reimbursable)

Physical Demands:

• Frequent entry and exit from the vehicle cab
• Ability to maneuver freight up to 2,500 pounds manually or with mechanical aid
• Carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet
• Operate vehicle components and perform safety checks
