Job Summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is seeking Class A drivers with a passion for customer service and a safety-first mindset to join our team. This CDL A Route Delivery Driver role involves operating a company vehicle to transfer freight safely and efficiently to and from specified locations by a set time. Responsibilities include unloading, sorting, palletizing, reloading freight manually or with mechanical aid, and completing all necessary paperwork in compliance with regulations and company policies.

Shift & Pay

Shift: Monday-Friday, starting at 7 am (Hazmat endorsement required before hire)

Pay: $29.00/hour + $2,500 sign-on bonus

Essential Job Duties

1. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
2. Deliver and/or pick up freight to/from customer locations or terminals as instructed.
3. Ensure all shipping documentation is available for DOT inspection and accompanies shipments.
4. Load and unload freight onto/from the vehicle at customer locations and terminals, with or without mechanical assistance depending on freight size.

Minimum Requirements

1. Valid Class A CDL.
2. At least 21 years old.
3. One year of commercial driving experience.
4. No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
5. No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.
6. Hazmat and Tanker endorsements (renewals reimbursable), required before hire.

Physical Demands

• Ability to frequently enter and exit the vehicle cab.
• Safely maneuver freight weighing up to 2,500 pounds, with mechanical aid if needed.
• Carry freight weighing up to 40 pounds for up to 20 feet.
• Operate vehicle components and perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks.
