Job summary

Amarr Company is hiring an experienced CDL driver for our distribution center in Concord, NC. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with no weekends.

The driver will load, unload, and operate a delivery vehicle, provide safe and timely customer deliveries, and support warehousing tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of commercial driving experience, a valid CDL, and the ability to lift 50-75 lb.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL license, be at least 21 years old, and possess a clean driving record.
• Ability to read and speak English per DOT guidelines.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lb.
• Must be able to learn product and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the region (one to two overnights expected per week).
• Provide deliveries to customers and other Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
• Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
• Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks.
• Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks such as unloading factory deliveries and other inbound freight, as well as loading dock customers.
• Assist in the completion of production orders if not on the road.

This is the ideal position for the person who loves to contribute to the success of a team as well as provide safe, expedient deliveries to our distribution network and customers.

In this position you will :

The Details:

This position is Monday - Friday...no weekends!! The pay rate starts at $35 based on experience.
