Job summary

Amarr Company in Concord, NC is seeking an experienced CDL driver for a full-time role. You will load, deliver, and assist with warehousing tasks to support our distribution network and customers.

The position requires a valid CDL, ability to lift up to 75 lb, and 3–5 years driving experience. Work Monday through Friday with no weekends and competitive benefits offered.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle regionally.
• Provide deliveries to customers and Amarr centers in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
• Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all operations.
• Assist in staging, assembly tasks, and loading/unloading inbound freight.
• Assist in production orders when not on the road.

Job description

Amarr is hiring a n experienced, motivated CDL driver to join our distribution center in Concord, NC as a full time team member . This is the ideal position for the person who loves to contribute to the success of a team as well as provide safe, expedient deliveries to our distribution network and customers.

In this position you will :

• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle three to five days a week within the region (one to two overnights expected per week) .
• Provide deliveries to customers and other Amarr Door Centers in a safe and timely manner.
• Provide personal attention to customer requests or product needs.
• Perform warehousing and merchandise handling tasks in all phases of operations.
• Perform customer assistance by completion of required staging and assembly tasks.
• Assist with distribution center warehousing tasks such as unloading factory deliveries and other inbound freight, as well as loading dock customers.
• Assist in the completion of production orders if not on the road .

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Must have a valid CDL license , be at least 21 years old, and possess a clean driving record.
• 3-5 years + experience driving a commercial vehicle.
• Must be able to read and speak English per DOT guidelines .
• Must be able to consistently lift 50-75 lb.
• Ability to learn product and work under pressure.
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to operate power tools.

The Details:

This position is Monday – Friday …n o weekends!! The pay rate starts at $ 3 5 based on experience .
