Gale Enterprises Inc., operating a Stand Strong Fencing franchise in the Richmond area, seeks a licensed Class A Residential Building Contractor to serve as Qualified Individual for DPOR. This is a consulting, mentoring role rather than field labor or project management, with the owner building his Commercial Builders license.

This position is remote with an initial term of six months and a mutual renewal option.

Qualifications

• Current, active Virginia Class A Residential Building Contractor license.
• Clean licensing/compliance history with DPOR.
• Willing to fulfill DPOR's QI role requirements for the engagement duration.

Responsabilités

• Serve as the Qualified Individual for DPOR for the engagement.
• Provide consulting and mentoring to the owner on residential building standards.

Position Overview

We're seeking a licensed Class A Residential Building Contractor to serve as our Qualified Individual (QI) with the Virginia DPOR. This is a QI-focused role — not a field labor or project management position. This person will serve in a consulting, mentoring role for the owner. Owner is working on his Commercial Builders license and would like to gain experience in the residential building zone.

Requirements

• Current, active Virginia Class A Residential Building Contractor license
• Clean licensing/compliance history with DPOR
• Willing to fulfill DPOR's QI role requirements for the duration of the engagement

Compensation & Term

• A negotiable flat monthly fee, paid for the duration of the engagement
• Initial term: 6 months
• Renewable in 6-month increments by mutual agreement
