Richards Building Supply Co. in Chicago, IL is seeking a CDL Class A or B Driver to deliver materials from our Belmont Ave location. You will operate equipment such as Moffett or knuckleboom and assist with unloading and inventory tasks.

The role includes loading trucks, receiving merchandise in the warehouse, and maintaining accurate stock levels, with a Monday–Friday schedule and competitive hourly pay. This is a family-owned company offering benefits and opportunities for career advancement

Qualifications

• 2 years CDL Class A driving experience or 1 year CDL B driving experience.
• Moffett and/or knuckleboom operating experience desired, but will train.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites and unload material per customer request.
• Receive materials in the warehouse and load trucks as scheduled.
• Process inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class A or B Driver for our Belmont Ave, Chicago, IL Location.

Opportunity to learn industry equipment such as the Moffett and the Knuckleboom

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site and physically unloading material per the customer's request as well as receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

2 years CDL Class A driving experience required or 1 year CDL B driving experience.

Requirements:

• Must be able to continually lift 50-100 lbs. of material throughout the day. Some lifting over 100 lbs. will be required.
• Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one and two story homes with a boom truck.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
