Job summary

Wrobel Engineering Co., Inc. is seeking skilled CNC machinists to join our precision machining team focused on medical, military and industrial components.

The ideal candidate has strong experience with CNC milling and turning, tight GD&T tolerances, and a commitment to quality. You will set up and run 5-axis mills and lathes, edit G & M codes, use Renishaw probes and tool-setters, read engineering drawings, and perform in-process inspection while collaborating with engineering to meet strict

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of precision CNC milling and turning experience with tolerances of .001" to .0005".
• Be familiar with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T tolerances.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

The ideal candidate has 3-5 years of precision CNC milling and turning experience working with tolerances of .001\" to .0005\".

Responsibilities:

Set up and operate CNC 5 axis Mills and Lathes

Edit G & M codes to adjust and optimize programs

Use tool-setters, Renishaw probes as well as other precision measuring tools

Read and interpret engineering drawings, interpret GD&T specifications

Preform in process inspection to ensure consistency of product

Work closely with the engineering team and department lead

Qualifications:

5 plus years of CNC machining with various materials including plastics

Ability to read engineering drawings and apply GD&T tolerances

Strong understanding of machining best practices

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Be familiar with ISO 13485 and ISO 9001

Typical Daily Work Tasks:

Set-up and run CNC Mills or Lathes, perform in process inspections, make adjustments as necessary to maintain tolerance and finish. Follow production schedules to meet deadlines. Maintain a clean and organized work area, follow safety protocols.
