Daniels Health & Sharpsmart in Des Moines, IA is seeking a Class A driver to transport medical waste containers between Des Moines and Shakopee. This full-time role offers autonomy, stable hours and potential overtime while you support healthcare clients.

You will operate up to 53ft tractors, maintain on-time deliveries, and follow DOT regulations. A clean driving record and a strong customer-service mindset are required for success.

Qualifications

• Delivery experience with 53ft tractor trailers.
• Experience handling manual tasks and loading/unloading.
• Clean driving record and adherence to safety.
• Flexible, can-do attitude with strong customer focus.
• Proven longevity in past employment and on-time delivery practices.
• Experience with DOT compliance, logging hours and roadside inspections.

Responsabilités

• Safely collecting, delivering and storing medical waste containers at designated locations.
• Providing strong customer service and building positive customer relationships.
• Operating vehicles in a safe manner (up to 53ft tractor trailers).
• Completing deliveries to time schedule and communicating changes or challenges.
• Loading and unloading and prioritizing the truck per schedule.
• Managing a route per leadership direction and delivering timely service.
• Complying with DOT regulations, logging hours and roadside inspections.
• Heavy lifting.
