Job description

Position

1. Responsible for planning and executing delivery activities, including preparing delivery loads, following planned delivery routes, and assisting with merchandise installations or returns.
2. Unload, install, and check appliances and store equipment.
3. Maintain cleanliness and standard maintenance of delivery vehicles.
4. Observe safety procedures related to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, Hazmat, and power equipment tools.
5. Maintain DOT and CDL certifications and ensure compliance with reporting requirements.

Job Requirements

• Availability to work mornings, afternoons, and evenings any day of the week.
• Physical ability to move large, bulky, and heavy merchandise.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring prolonged standing, sitting, and other physical activities necessary to perform job duties.

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B license with air brake endorsement.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction).
• Minimum age of 21 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 3 months of experience operating a forklift or Moffett onloading/offloading a vehicle.
• At least 1 year of experience driving a semi-truck/trailer or certification from a driving school.
• At least 6 months of experience performing in-home delivery or retail customer service.
