Final Mile Systems in Duncan, SC is hiring a bench driver for the 3rd shift on dedicated, local routes. Start/finish times are flexible and you may be called to cover a route or work the dock when not on route.

Home daily and weekends off, with a 1099 contractor arrangement and no benefits. Compensation is $300 per day, paid weekly on Fridays.

Qualifications

Job description

This is a BENCH Driver Role, YOU MUST BE FLEXIBLE ON START TIMES AND END TIMES, ON OCCASION YOU CAN BE CALLED UP TO COVER A ROUTE WHEN WORKING THE DOCK. WHEN NOT ON ROUTE, YOU WILL WORK THE DOCK

OVERNIGHT COURIER COMPANY SEEKING IMMEDIATE HIRE.

Job Position Overview:

• HOME EVERY DAY AND OFF WEEKENDS! Great Opportunity!
• Please note this is NOT to be a second job.
• We cannot guarantee the time you get off if the line hauls are late, and you will still be required to run the route.
• We are hiring as a delivery BENCH driver. This means you will have to be flexible with start and finish times If this will not work for you, then please don't apply.
• This is for the 3rd shift each day on dedicated routes.
• The work day starts Monday night and ends Saturday morning when the route is complete.

Qualifications:

• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK (we pull an extensive background check prior to hiring, for every applicant we plan on hiring).
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUG SCREENING (you will be drug tested before being hired, and then randomly throughout employment, and in the instance of a vehicle accident/job accident).
• Must be able to show up on time each day without issue as these routes are time-sensitive.
• Have a clean driving record.
• Must be of legal age or older.
• Must be able to pass a physical examination to acquire a DOT card. (You will have to pay for this).
• Must have access to a good working smartphone.
• Must have reliable transportation to work daily.
• You will be in a tractor-trailer.
• You will need a CDL for this position.
• Driving experience is a must, 3 years minimum.
• Applicant's resume should display a strong work history with good references on the applicant's previous work ethic.
• No benefits as this will be 1099 contractor work.
• But you will receive tax write-off incentives so as to not have taxes due. Paid weekly with direct deposit.
• Willing to do dock work and or drive 26 foot box trucks at times

Job Details:

• Compensation: $300 - $300 per day and the settlements are weekly on Fridays.
